Scoring: violoncello solo, 5 channel digital audio playback, soundtrack, film projection.

1. im watching a chinese film.
2. the room is dark, with a slight muted green hue. there are a lot of palms and windows. greyblue light filters in through the windows.
3. i see the back of a black leather couch, taking up the lower third of the frame.
4. a man walks in from the right and talks to a man i can not see who is sitting on a smaller black leather chair on the left.
5. he speaks sternly about something in chinese. there are no sub/super titles, instead the translations are dead center on the screen in a trendy washed out white font. the only word i remember is '*****'. it is the first word of a sentence.
6. the standing man paces around the room, except the camera trails away first, with the man entering the frame. the camera is 'lazy.'

cut to...

7. a girl wearing frazzled dirty white clothes. she looks very disheveled. black eyeliner runs down her face. she is pale. the girls name is leila.
8. she is on the floor. i notice her hands are covered with a thick kelly green substance, like ink.
9. she vomits red robitussin all over the floor.
10. an american walks into the room. he looks like gary busey, but you cant see his face because it has been fuzzed out. he walks up to the girl on the floor. he helps her up out of the pool of robitussin.
11. on the wall is a poster. he shows her that if you take a mix of the robitussin and the green ink and rub it on the poster, it will dirty the poster enough to make invisible ink on the poster visible.
12. a police officer long ago left a clue on the poster about something that she needed to know.
